When a resident signs a lease, we automatically add them to Zego via the integration with your existing management software. This removes the need for you to manually invite residents to activate their Zego accounts.

Occasionally, someone will make a typo when inputting the resident's email initially, which means they will never receive their activation link (unless we can reach them via SMS/text). If you don't believe that is the case, and the resident has the correct contact information in Zego, you resend them their activation email by following these steps:

  • Type the resident's name or unit name into the search bar at the top of your property home page.
  • Click "View" next to the user's search result.
  • From the user's profile page, confirm that their email is valid and the email they would like to use (if you need to update this email, it needs to be update in your management software first, then it will be synced to Zego in 4-6 hours).
  • Click the "Remind Me" button.

If the email has been successfully sent you will see a green Success pop-up at the top of the screen.
