If you need to quickly message a resident, Zego Chat is the best way to do it. You can send chats as in-app messages or texts (sms). If a resident has the Resident App installed on their phone, it will send them a push notification regardless whenever you send them a chat message.
To send a chat message to a resident follow these steps:
- Using the search bar, search for the resident by name, email, or unit.
- Locate the resident in the search results.
- Click the "Chat" link next to the resident's name in the results dropdown. You should be redirected to the Chat page.
- In the text box below the conversation history, type the message you would like to send the resident, select the delivery method (Chat or Text) in the bottom right, then click Send.
